Today, Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA), a not-for-profit electric generation and transmission (G&T) cooperative, named two new executives to its leadership team. The additions position WVPA to better serve its members across Indiana, Illinois and Missouri.
Jeff Hume, WVPA Vice President of Member Relations and Business Development
“Everything we do is focused on serving our members by providing affordable and reliable energy to those who depend on us,” said Jeff Conrad, WVPA President and Chief Executive Officer. “We can only achieve our goals by ensuring we have the best and brightest customer-focused team possible. I am excited to add two service-minded professionals to Wabash Valley Power.”
Jeff Hume joins WVPA as the Vice President of Member Relations and Business Development, a newly formed division in the organization. Hume comes to WVPA from ACES Power Marketing, where he served as the Executive Director of Business Development. Hume has more than 30 years of experience in the utility industry with a strong understanding of both distribution and generation and transmission cooperatives. Hume has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Dayton.
Vicki Duncan Gardner, WVPA Vice President of Marketing and Communications
Additionally, Vicki Duncan Gardner is WVPA’s new Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Gardner has a strong background in engagement and advocacy with credentials spanning government, journalism, marketing and communications. She most recently was the Senior Director of Strategic Communications with Hirons. Prior to that, she was the Director of Communications for the City of Westfield. Gardner also served as Press Secretary in the Indiana Lieutenant Governor’s Office, in corporate communications at Cummins and in television news as a reporter for RTV6 in Indianapolis. Gardner is a graduate of DePauw University.
