The compliance department is on the front lines of the fight to ensure we meet our regulatory commitments and at the same time that we don’t slip on an icy patch in the parking lot and crack open our noggin. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure regulatory compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Oversee, manage, and ensure compliance with The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Standards, applicable Regional Reliability Organization (Reliability First and SERC) Regional Standards/Guidelines, OSHA, and Department of Transportation (DOT) Standards.
- Develop safety procedures and training for employees and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage the insurance program for WVPA to ensure that all assets are adequately insured.
