Biography:

An experienced economic development professional, Rachel partners with economic development and local stakeholders to attract and support new and growing businesses in communities served by Wabash Valley Power Alliance member co-ops. Before joining WVPA, she was a project manager with the Indiana Economic Development Corp., where she represented 11 Central Indiana counties to manage expansion and attraction projects in the region. She also worked with the Boone County Economic Development Corp., where she helped the organization secure more than $450 million in capital investment. Rachel graduated with her bachelor’s in business administration from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at Kelley School of Business at IUPUI and her Economic Development certification from the University of Oklahoma.

Biography:

As our part-time Economic Development Representative in Illinois, Mike works closely with key staff in member co-ops, business partners, and civic organizations to promote economic development initiatives of WVPA and member co-ops. He is able to leverage his professional experience, as he previously served as interim CEO, Vice President, and Director of Government and Investor Relations of the Economic Development Council of the Bloomington-Normal Area. Mike has served in numerous community organizations, including the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, the Ecology Action Center Board, the Illinois Green Business Association Board of Directors, and the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal.
