Wabash Valley Power was one of 16 electric cooperatives named to the 2014 Top 100 Co op List, compiled annually by the National Cooperative Bank. The list was released in conjunction with National Cooperative Month, celebrated each year in October.
The electric co-ops on the list represent a combined revenue of $16.5 billion, and their position illustrates the important role co-ops play in America’s communities.
Basin Electric, located in North Dakota, ranked 21st on the list, while Wabash Valley Power holds the 86th spot.
Wabash Valley’s 2013 revenues totaled just over $735 million.
